I illustrated this christian rock cd cover design working closely with the musician, there was a lot of back and forth regarding the cd cover design to make sure it reflected his idea of what it should look like. Eventually the client was very happy with the finished product, I’ve recently started working on his second album titled “view from hear”. The cover also contains a conceptual design. Christian rock cd cover design is a very versatile subject matter, styles can very from a very conservative and reserved design to a very dark, gloomy, and gritty cd design. The cover image illustrates Jesus Christ post crucifixion, he’s dropped the crown of thorns, and three nails with which he was pierced with, and he’s walking away from them, walking towards a sun rise that conveys the idea of a new day- that Jesus had changed everything from that point on.
